The iSee Taiwan Foundation has long championed Taiwan's unique cultural and geographic identity. Mr. Chen emphasized that while "culture" may sound abstract, it is in fact something people interact with daily, often without realizing it.
For this reason, the Foundation has chosen to focus on gastronomy—a universal element of everyday life—as a primary cultural expression. By integrating culinary traditions with innovative design, Taiwan's food can embody both exceptional quality and cultural richness. Through collaborations with international enterprises, starting with culinary culture, the Foundation hopes to foster deeper global appreciation for Taiwan's refined cultural identity.

Design-driven value enhancement lies at the heart of the Foundation's strategy to elevate products and services. In his speech, Mr. Chen traced the Foundation's track record in promoting knowledge-intensive service innovation:
‧Supporting the establishment of the Service Science Society of Taiwan (2011)
‧Hosting Taiwan's first stage-based experiential showcase
‧Hosting cross-cultural gastronomy forums, invited 50 Best and Madrid Fusion
‧Launching the iSee Design platform (2015), partnering with global organizations including the World Design Organization (WDO) and DBCS to create a network of 40 art and design associations across five continents
Guided by its four pillars—discovery, integration, marketing, and service—the Foundation promotes Taiwan's diverse food culture to the world. By combining local traditions with global design perspectives, it creates products and experiences that showcase Taiwan's creativity and invite international audiences to engage with its culture firsthand.
With the "iSee Taiwan Signature" project as an example, the Foundation found inspiration in the globally familiar concept of fruit jams and carefully selected premium guavas and lemons grown by small-scale Taiwan farmers. These are then blended with fragrant roses and jasmine flowers cultivated through natural farming methods to create distinctive jams that not only capture the vibrant flavors of Taiwan's fruits but also elevate their value through thoughtful design and packaging. iSee Taiwan Signature jams reflect the essence of Taiwan's agricultural heritage and cultural depth, offering a refined taste of the island and its culture to the world.
